My First Book Review!!!

How to Reach Your Full Potential for God by Charles Stanley

For those who want to live a life of purpose, Charles Stanley has written an encouraging, Biblically-sound book to help! First, the gives the reader the foundation of living any sort of life with purpose, which is a relationship with Jesus Christ. Apart from Jesus, purpose has no meaning, and Stanley makes it clear that this is the first step in pursuing one's potential. Second, one must realize his role as a servant to truly honor our Lord who lives within. It is only when our God-given skills become our SERVICE that we are able to live lives in full submission and with glorious purpose! Stanley's principles of "success" vary greatly from the world's definition of success (but doesn't it always work like that!!). Servanthood, sacrifice, surrender, and submission are not admired qualites in our world today, but they are essential to serving Jesus. If we will sit at His feet and find rest, our purpose will flow from that, and our lives will be fulfilled...TRULY fulfilled. We don't have to wait until heaven to experience the love, passion, and peace of Jesus Christ; He offers that to us as a free gift as His sons and daughters. THAT is our purpose, and Stanley does an incredible job of encouraging the believer as we wait for the best that is yet to come! Enjoy your reading!!

In other news, life has been good and busy for the Sharbonos. Had a BLAST watching the Saints win the SUPERBOWL!!!!! I know the Lord probably wasn't TOO concerned with the outcome, but I was still praying hard for our guys to win!! :) I usually don't get nervous about games, but it just felt like it was for our state, and I don't know...we needed it, maybe?? Anyway....what a fun football season! Church has been really amazing...I have been learning so much about grace and rest, and we recently found out that the Lord has blessed us in another way. We are going to have another baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) The fifth Sharbono will be here around September 8. I can't believe our family is growing again...and I also can't believe I will have three kids, ages two and under! :) I will need EVERYBODY'S help, so you can sign my sign-up sheet whenever you're ready. :) Thanks for loving us and for walking with us in this journey of life. Love to all!!!!

I promise 3 kids 2 and under isn't that bad! If you can handle 2 year old twins, a newborn added to the mix won't be so bad. Trust me, when Gavin was 1 and Kami and Luke were born I was so scared and nervous to have 3 babies. But everything worked out fine for me and it will for you :)

BTW: Baby #3 Sharbono is due 1 day after Kami and Luke's birthday!

So, when do you need your maternity clothes back? So glad you finally announced it so that I don't have to bear the burden of a secret any longer. Oh, and we did much better on the timing this time, huh? Go us. Let me know when you start to get a little pudgy. I should be coming through town sometime soon and we can execute a dropoff. Love you and CONGRATULATIONS!
