In Our Neck of the Woods..

We have been running around like crazy the past week or so. Today, we are going to stay home and bake and decorate sugar cookies at the house, so it ought to be interesting. I'm so ready for Christmas to get here; I already feel like this is going to be the slowest week of my life. I have ten books from the library that I plan to delve into into after the house is clean and the cookies are baked. I am reminded of how blessed we all are to have jobs, families, joy, and peace in the midst of a very uncertain world. I know Jesus gives those blessings, and I hope we all remember to thank Him as we celebrate His coming. It is so easy to get wrapped up in the presents and the music, ESPECIALLY when there are two 18 month old babies to enjoy it, but I want my focus and their focus to be on the One who gives life meaning and purpose.
Here are a few pictures of the girls from our past week...hope you enjoy!

Loving on each other...
Rylie acting silly and crawling around in the kitchen....

Sadie wondering what her sister is doing...

The view from the top....it's a good one. ;o)
At our first LC basketball game of the season....LOVE me some mini LC cheerleaders. They were definitely the hit of the stands.

Sadie is starting gynmastics on her own, apparently. I randomly catch her in the "downward dog" position for you yoga people.
How stinking cute is this??
Rylie is my crouching tiger. :)

And here are two of our favorite people ever...Aunt Lissie and Savannah...look at the eyes on those two!

I'm off to clean house...praying that your joy is Jesus!!! Love to all!!!!

LOVE the baby yoga! And you really took me back with the basketball game...I have not been to one since my freshman year when the dumb cheerleaders voted me "Most Spirited Female Student." I was so embarrassed I never stepped foot in H.O. West again!
