Lake Charles Adventure Race

This past weekend, we went to Lake Charles for our third adventure race of the year. It was at Sam Houston State Park, and it was soooooo much fun. The park was gorgeous...truly a beautiful picture of Louisiana scenery at its best. Nathan raced with Furlow and Lance Lopez, and they had a GREAT time together. After this race, they have decided to do the entire series next year. Nathan and Furlow have been running everyday, trying to get their times down, and I'm just having a good time watching. ;) On to the pictures....

The next mystery event...they had to get water from the river and dump it in a bucket without touching the ropes. I think our bucket got dumped twice for accidentally touching the rope. There were some VERY eager judges there on Saturday. :)

I don't have any from the end of the race, but needless to say, it was a great day! Sorry I don't have any of Sadie and Rylie...they will be back soon! :)
