Little Bit of Ponca....

I don't have the majority of the pictures yet, but I wanted to post some from my camera. Ponca, Arkansas, is in the middle of the Ozark Mountains. It is an extremely rural area with some of the greatest scenery I have ever seen. From our cabin, we had a spectacular view of the mountains. Dad cooked breakfast every morning, and then we would head out for some great day adventure. Here is Sadie with her new Minnie doll from Branson. We took one day and headed to Branson...it was okay, but I would MUCH rather be at the swimming hole. Here is the spectacular swimming hole of Ponca...the water was crystal clear, and we ALL became expert rock skippers by the end of the week.
We went to another swimming hole at Steel Creek, two miles away. This one took a little more effort to reach, but it was unreal. The bluffs surrounded us, and we felt like we were in paradise. Here is Nathan throwing one of the girls out of the water...

Grammy and Pop with lots of trouble... :)

The bluffs...this picture makes me want to go back. :(

We did lots of hiking, exploring, eating, and card-playing, but more about all that later. It's bedtime for Jenny Girl!!!!
