Card Sharks
Today, we have a short break from Sadie and Rylie to tell you about CARD CLASS!!! It's a new ministry the ladies are starting at Donahue, and it's fabulous. Basically, the idea of the class is to make cards to send to the unchurched, hurting, etc... We have two ladies (who are brilliant at making cards) who have cards set up for us, and we each get to make 4-6 cards per class. It's FREE and it will be held at church the second Friday of every month from 6-8 p.m. We had the BEST time...I haven't laughed that hard in a while, and I was SOOOOOOOOO proud of my little cards. I'm showing the four we made this past Friday...If you would like to come, please let me know! I'll sign you up...can't wait to see you!
It's hard to tell, but the flowers are 3-D.
We frosted the cupcakes with WALL PLASTER. Everything on these cards is textured and dimensional, and I can't get over how cute the ideas are. The ladies doing our class truly are creative marvels.

I LOVE the team names. My favorite was We Can-oe It, but then, I am a big Waterboy fan. Good call on not choosing Pant, Paddle, Pedal, because there is a race named that. Also, Biking Buddies sounds like Big Gay Al from Southpark started his own AR team. I had something else to tell you but I can't remember it without seeing your comment...
Okay, the breast pump was it. Yes, I think it was a better deal. I'll check with Damon on the website.
I am sad I missed the first card making night!!! I definitely want to be there the next time!! Oh by the way....remind me to tell you about SCENTSYS....you have to come to the party!!!
